Johnson Creek , WI, (June 18, 2003) — For rural acreage owners, CGC, Inc., announces the Steiner® 200 ZTM™, the first zero-turn mower with optional PowerLink™ that generates up to 1000 watts of AC electric power. The Steiner 200 ZTM is the latest Steiner Zero Turn Mower built using the same rugged, commercial-grade design that made Steiner mowers famous. The 200 ZTM delivers the high quality cut homeowners demand, true zero-turn capability and premium features at an attractive price.

Commercial Quality
The Steiner 200 ZTM provides the quality, speed and high manicured cut that professional landscapers demand. Its zero-turn radius for increased trimming capability, rear engine drive design for increased visibility and its running speed of 7 mi./hr. are all features on the 200 ZTM commercial mower that provide key time savings for the operator and an optimum choice for the residential and rural market.

Rural acreage owners will appreciate the rugged design and components of the Steiner 200 ZTM. Its steel welded frame, two thicknesses of 10 ga. top cutter deck with 7 ga. skirts and baffles, and permanently lubricated spindles and heavy duty castor wheels provide reliability in the harshest conditions. Yellow dicramate plated fasteners provide corrosion resistance and individual powder painted parts provide tough exteriors. In addition, the product line uses reputable Briggs and Stratton engines. Steiner's 200 ZTM met tough commercial and residential testing and certification standards, including anti B71.4 1999 safety inspection for commercial turf equipment and B71.1 1998 for consumer turf equipment.

The Steiner 200 ZTM delivers the same high quality manicured cut that commercial mowers provide because it is built with the same high quality components. For example, it features drop down blades to protect the blades from damage and the mower's decks are fully baffled to provide optimum discharge in any condition.

Versatile Mower
The Steiner 200 ZTM's exclusive PowerLink option is an on-board 120V AC generator capable of supplying 1000 watts of continuous power (1500 watts intermittent) for convenient portable power. Owners can hook right up to their lawn mower instead of running extension cords or hauling an additional generator to a job when they need to run electrical tools such as hedge trimmers, blowers, power drills and saws. In addition, PowerLink can work as a back-up generator running appliances and sump pumps, in emergency situations. Its power outlet is easy to reach and is located near the seat of the mower.

Easy To Operate and Maintain
The Steiner 200 ZTM features 23 in. tires for smooth driving even on rough terrain, and an electric key start and clutch for easy starting and running. Its dual hydrostatic drive allows the operator to steer using two easy maneuvering levers. Its pressurized oil system with filter is easily accessible from the top of the engine and its self adjusting idlers - no belt adjustment needed - provides longer belt life because tension is always optimal.
