August 2003 - 430 Tractor From Steiner Provides Unmatched VersatilityJohnson Creek, Wis., (Aug. 3, 2003) — For large acre residential owners, farmers, landscapers, and municipal uses, the Steiner 430 Max is the most versatile tractor available. The 430 provides unmatched flexibility with over 20 attachments available and the highest quality performance - all in a time-saving, money-saving package. The Steiner 430 Max provides full-time four-wheel drive, a fully hydrostatic transmission and hydraulic power steering for the easiest maneuverability and operation. Its dual wheel capability provides better traction and stability while minimizing compaction and its articulated frame and low center of gravity provide excellent performance and safety. "The Steiner 430 is one of our most popular machines because virtually anyone can use it," says Tony Weber, product manager. "Poultry farmers like it for its light weight, the municipal market likes it for its many available attachments and homeowners like it because it's such a high quality machine at a good price." The 430 has a six gallon fuel tank and is available with three engine choices: a 21 HP Kubota diesel liquid-cooled, a 25 HP Kubota gas liquid-cooled, and a 27 HP Kohler V-twin air-cooled. It also has three tire choices: the standard Tractor Bar Tread, a Turf Traction Tire for reduced marking on fine turf areas, and the Field Trax Tire for additional traction. More than 20 Quick Hitch™ attachments are available including mulchers, aerators, snow blowers and blades, a 48 in. wide bucket front loader, as well as many others. These attachments allow the Steiner 430 Max tractor to become just about any maintenance machine needed. In addition, an external weight transfer kit (for enhanced performance on hills), cabs, canopies, roll bars, utility boxes and dual wheels are available.
